What they claim?
100% Cruelty Free and made with natural ingredients.Products Tested:
StarFire Liquid Lipstick – Shade: L3/Red (Cool Toned)
Unofficially a hybrid liquid lipstick. It has the shine of a high-gloss lipstick, and the hydrating benefits of a lip-balm. it is not tacky on the lips very comfortable on lips. Consequently, this type of lipstick does not last long. You may have to do a few touch-ups during the day as it is not transfer-proof. I also suggest using with a lip liner.
StarFire Cosmetic Glitter – Shade: S5/Gold, S4/Brown
The glitter is just the right size which made it easier to get a full lid of glitter vs using the usual chunky glitter that tends to be patchy. I also like that they come in an array of colors at such an affordable price. My only tip is to do your eyes before your foundation if your using this glitter as it goes everywhere and it’s a mission to remove.
Liquid Highlighter Drops – Shade: Liquid Glow 2 (Icy Pink)
These drops have micro-glitter in it - showing that sparkle from every angle. The lightweight formula has no fragrance, feels great on the skin, is not oily/greasy, and is soft to the touch. You have the option of making the glow blinding or an illuminating glow subtle enough for the office. I found that dabbing lightly on the highest points of the face with your fingers makes for a better look and control, unlike the beauty blender. The beauty blender adds too much and does not give you wiggle room for building up or covering the parts you may have messed up. This is for the face and body, great for sensitive skin and can be applied over powder.
Retractable Double-Sided Pro-Makeup Brush
This dual sided synthetic bristle brush is tapered on one end, and a rounded flat brush the other. The flat end is great for packing in eyeshadow or glitter on the lid. I found that the tapered brush can be used for applying lipstick/gloss, applying highlight under the browbone/inner corner of eyes or packing color under the water line. My only wish is that the brush be a bit heavier. Although the gold metal and top make it look like a higher-end product, the weight says otherwise.
Glitter Base
The glitter glue was amazing. Although it dried in a matter of
seconds, It was tacky enough to be a perfect base for the glitter. When
checking the ingredients, I did not find latex as an ingredient, so it is safe
for those with latex allergies. It’s pretty secure, so I suggest using a micellar
water or oil-soaked cotton ball and pressing softly on the lid for a minimum of
30 seconds. You may need to repeat this depending on the amount of glitter on
the lid or your lid’s surface area.
Smell: None
of the items had any smell. That I am aware of, the company makes all their cosmetics
without any fragrance.
Is It Worth It?Yes!!!! if you want quality cruelty-free vegan makeup without breaking the bank, you’ve come to the right place. I honestly think that the products I tried were better than some of the higher end cosmetics I own. I like that everything was priced fairly, and the items had natural ingredients. The pigmentation was rich.
